About Sarah
Sarah Mitchell discovered macramé during a trip to a small coastal market in Portugal, where she watched an artisan knot an intricate wall hanging in under an hour. She came home and ordered her first spool of cotton rope that same night.
Over the next decade, Sarah turned what began as a weekend hobby into a full creative practice. She has taught fiber arts workshops across the country, collaborated with interior designers on bespoke textile installations, and developed her own line of natural-dye macramé kits.
Sarah's approach is grounded in the belief that handmade objects carry a quiet energy that machine-made things simply cannot replicate. Every knot is intentional. Every piece tells a story about the hands that made it.
When she is not at her work table, Sarah spends her time hiking coastal trails with her dog, visiting farmer's markets, and hunting for vintage ceramics to display alongside her fiber work.
